Privacy Policy

The short version: you don't sign in, and we never ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the site. Voting is anonymous.

What we handle

• Your votes. When you choose a bar for a match, we store that choice — the match, the country you're supporting, and the bar. It is not linked to your name or identity, and no personal identifiers are attached to it.
• Standard technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting and database providers automatically receive routine technical information (such as your IP address and basic browser/request details) in order to operate and protect the service. We don't use this to identify you or build a profile of you.
• No ad tracking. We don't currently use advertising cookies, trackers, or third-party analytics. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.

Service providers

We rely on Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database) to run the site; they process data on our behalf. We also display schedule and odds information from third-party data providers. Simply browsing our site does not share your information with those providers.

How we use what we have

Only to run the voting and results features, show aggregated results by city and country, and keep the service secure and working.

How long we keep it

Vote data is kept to power the results during the tournament and may be removed afterward.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't collect information that identifies you, we generally can't connect any data to a specific person. If you're in a region with privacy rights — for example the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA) — and you have questions or requests, email us at venues@where2watch.bar.

Children

The site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent version.
